Our Vision:

To be the premier independent energy producer of California. Our focus is locating, leasing, and then developing large oil and gas deposits within known oil producing basins and oil fields of Central and Southern California.

Founded in October of 2008, Amrich Energy, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Delaware, and licensed to do business in California in 2009. Since our founding, Amrich Energy has been extremely active in the acquisition of oil and gas leases and producing properties.

Currently, Amrich Energy has leasehold positions in over 18,000 acres located within known oil productive areas. Currently, Amrich Energy operates 62 wells and is actively involved in drilling, development, operating, and production of several oil fields.

The management of Amrich Energy has chosen to acquire leasehold positions within recognized, sizeable oil and gas fields in Central and Southern California. By controlling large and contiguous oil and gas lease positions in these oil rich areas, we can simultaneously place very large proven, (and probable) oil reserves into our asset portfolio.

In California, the Monterey Shale is believed to hold the largest oil reserves of any shale basin in the United States. Amrich Energy holds one of the largest acreage positions in the Monterey trend. Our efforts have focused on aggressively developing the Monterey Shale formation.

No hydraulic fracturing! Because Amrich Energy’s Monterey assets are located in the Santa Maria basin, this Monterey has been naturally fractured by Mother Nature and does not require additional fracturing.

The natural oil flow rates from wells drilled within the Santa Maria basin can range from 50 barrels of oil per day to over 5000 barrels of oil per day, with the average oil wells producing in the 100 to 300 barrels per day range. This makes the Santa Maria basin home to some of the best oil fields in California.
